Körber Supply Chain (formerly Körber Logistics Systems), a Business Area of the Körber Group, offers solutions for the management of holistic supply chains. As one of the leading intralogistics providers, Körber Supply Chain combines several subsidiaries under its roof. 2017 was a very special year for the group. Through worldwide acquisitions and a new organizational structure, Körber Supply Chain successfully executed its predefined growth strategy and made the step towards becoming a global player in their specific market. At the annual Management Conference, executives from Europe, North America and Asia were therefore to be briefed in detail on the developments and prepared for the further “journey” through presentations and workshops.
The Project
An event turns into a launch pad – also thanks to DIE WORTWERKSTATT
The task for this two-day management conference was thus clear. However, the details were up to us. We won over our client with the right slogan for their event (“Ready… for Take-off”) and matching location: a venue with a rather unusual airplane ambience.
In terms of content, we supported the management and marketing department with a detailed event concept, scheduling, and all presentations, including video clips and the preparation of a product presentation. We also handled invitations and accommodation, as well as the complete organization of the event, including shuttle and cab transfers between the airport, hotel, and venue for a total of 80 international participants.
On site, we “decorated” the building in corporate design and provided program booklets, that looked like boarding passes. We supplied the necessary stage equipment, took over the directing and, in the end, also the co-hosting of the two days. The take-off event was remembered by the participants not least because of a classy luggage tag made of brushed metal – also designed by our in-house production team.
Feedback from the client: that event was a perfect landing.
